You booked a holiday, not a driving job. With a private tour, someone else takes the tight mountain roads, the unlit tunnels and the unmarked roads — while you sit at the window with the camera up and the window down. Your driver already knows which viewpoint holds the light at four o'clock and which gravel track a normal car simply cannot climb. He waits while you swim. He waits while you eat. Fuel, parking, the language, the police check, the wrong turn: all his. The day, the stops and the pace: all yours.
Rental
A rental looks cheaper right up to the moment you add it up. The daily rate is the smallest number on the invoice — then comes the full insurance you will not dare refuse, the fuel, the tolls, the parking you cannot find, and the deposit frozen on your card for a fortnight. And most rental contracts forbid exactly the tracks that lead to the views you flew here for.

Is the car really private, or will we end up sharing it?
Always private. The vehicle and the driver are yours for the day — no strangers, no fixed timetable, no waiting in a car park while a group of forty is counted back onto a bus. You decide when you leave, where you stop and how long you stay.
What is actually included in the price I see?
The vehicle, the driver, all the fuel, every kilometre of the route and all the waiting time — from your door in Tirana back to your door. What is not included is site entry tickets and your food, and every destination page lists those separately so nothing appears on the day as a surprise.
Can you pick us up from our hotel, and what time do we leave?
Yes — door to door anywhere in Tirana, at no extra cost. Most full days leave at 09:00 and the long ones at 07:00; if your flight, your children or your late night says otherwise, tell us and we will move it.
How do we pay, and do we have to pay anything now?
Pay the driver in cash at the end and save 10% on the listed price, or pay in full by card online, or leave a card deposit to hold the car and settle the rest on the day. Reserving costs nothing and cancelling is free up to 24 hours before.
Do we need to plan anything, or speak Albanian?
Neither. Your driver speaks English and Albanian, knows the opening hours, the entry queues and the roads that are closed this week, and handles all of it. You tell us roughly what kind of day you want; we build the route around it.
