Bovilla Lake & Mount Gamti
A private 4x4 ride from Tirana to the Bovilla viewpoint above the dam. The Gamti ridge walk is optional — the driver waits either way.
Bovilla is a drinking-water reservoir fifteen kilometres north of Tirana, walled by the limestone ridge of Gamti. The water is turquoise on clear days because of the depth and the mineral load from the karst.
The gravel track from Zall-Herr climbs to a viewpoint above the dam. Most organised trips from Tirana stop short of that track and send guests up Gamti on foot. We drive the track.

Before you reserve
- Do I need to hike to see Bovilla?
- Not with us. The 4x4 drives the gravel track to the viewpoint. Most other Bovilla tours include a 40–60 minute climb up Gamti — that walk is optional here, never required.
- Is this just a taxi?
- No. A taxi stops where the tarmac stops. We drive the track, wait at the top, and bring you back.
- How do I pay?
- Cash on the day is cheapest. Card online includes a 20% charge for the processor and currency conversion — that is not our margin. A retainer of 25% of the card price (minimum €30) holds the vehicle; the balance is cash on the day.
- How many people can come?
- Up to eight. One vehicle seats four; five to eight guests means both cars go out, and both cars are paid for. That is the only honest way to price a two-car fleet.
